North Carolina Escapes

Survive and advance. That's what the Tar Heels did Friday night, as they escaped with a win over the Ohio Bobcats, 73-65 in OT. Tyler Zeller had 20 points, 22 rebounds, and 4 blocks in the win, yet Ohio had a free throw to take the lead with 25 seconds left in the game. Unfortunately, guard Walter Offutt missed, and UNC took control in OT. They will play #2 Kansas, which eliminated #11 NC State Friday, on Sunday in St. Louis.
