Clippers Land Paul
The Los Angeles Clippers have their guy. They acquire the all-star point guard from the New Orleans Hornets in exchange for SG Eric Gordon, C Chris Kaman, SF Al-Farouq Aminu, and a first round pick. In my opinion, this is giving up an a lot, but if the Clippers are able to sign both Paul and Blake Griffin long term, it could be the beginning of a formidable tandem for LA's other franchise.
Pacers Sign West
The Indiana Pacers bolster their front court, signing former All-Star Hornet PF David West to a two year, $20 million deal.
Nuggets Resign Nene
The Denver Nuggets have resigned top free agent center Nene to a five year contract, worth $67 million, spurning the efforts of the Rockets, Nets, and Pacers to get him away from the team he has played for his entire career.
Mavericks Acquire Odom
The Dallas Mavericks acquire forward Lamar Odom, who was upset at being included in Chris Paul trade talks, from the Los Angeles Lakers in exchange for a trade exception and first round pick.

Giorgos Printezis to New York. Washington also sent a future second
round draft choice to Dallas.
